Used font-families
It would be nice to see (where you select the font-familie) what font-families you already used in your project.
In our August release, we’ve introduced the new Assets panel, which allows you to create and reuse text styles. For more details, check out this blog post: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/august-update-of-adobe-xd/
Feel free to file new suggestions if you have feedback about this feature or about the new consumption of Creative Cloud libraries feature!

August 2023 here. My first job with Adobe XD, first hour with my client .xd file setting up my site build, and apparently there's no way to find out what fonts I need to setup my .css file? This request for "what font-families you already used in your project" has been hanging around for six years? Some hint why after this amount of time you refuse to provide this would be interesting.

Chiming in to say that the assets panel / text styles are great but don't solve this issue. Being able to get a full list of used font families & weights is a critical first step for implementing a site design - so you can set up the font files to be used on the site. Character styles don't solve this, since it's so easy for the designer to leave one out, but also because at this point font sizes & colors are irrelevant - I just need to see font family/style and weight.
The functionality for this already exists - if a font is missing from my system, XD handily lists the exact info I need under "Missing Fonts" (font name, weight). Just add another tab for "all fonts" and give this same info for everything.

Why was this request marked as "Feature-Completed"? The asset panel does not list all the fonts used in the XD file.
The assets panel relies on the initial creator of the XD file to be diligent about creating character styles AND using them. I will often be sent XD files where this is not the case, and tracking down all the various component states where a different font weight is used by accident is very time consuming. Sometimes an OS system font gets used, or copied in from another project and will never show up missing. Could the XD developers PLEASE just consult with the developers of other Adobe apps like InDesign or Illustrator to better understand why this feature is critical for production.
Other people within my company think I sound insane, when I explain that XD cannot just list all the fonts referenced in the file. I get responses like "It must be able to, just check the support pages".
Early drafts of a website are often created using a system font, before a final decision is made by a client on what font is approved for use. The client will want to see a revised XD file with this final approved font in use for UX QC BEFORE it goes to the web programmers. -

They (we) need a feature (or plug-in) that shows list of fonts used in an XD project, even if you did not add them to Character Styles. For example: "Arial Bold, Arial Regular, Times New Roman Bold Italic".

it allows you to create and reuse text styles yes, but this feature does not allow what this person is asking.
they are asking for an extra feature that would allow you to locate fonts. similar to illustrator, where you can find the same objects by form or font. -

First I would like to say that the automatic library panel looks awesome! Bring it on!
Apart from that it would be very convenient, if by default a new textbox would apply styling that is based on styles already used in the document. The need to specifically select another textbox for that to happen is not very intuitive. Ideally this would be the library style most commonly used in the project. The likeliness that I would need Helvetica in grey (!) tends to be very low...
