Keep Layer name while converting them into a Symbol
It would be great if XD stops renaming the Layers when you convert them into a symbol.
XD should be working this way now — if you select a single object (layer) and create a Component, the component name will be taken from that object’s name.
If you select multiple objects at once to make a Component you’ll still get a generic name, but you can rename it in the Assets panel afterward.

This is sort of a duplicate of this: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/16933993-label-and-reorganize-reorder-symbol-library
Just vote on that. I explained the same use case in the comments

This is important. What use is the name "Symbol 1-1" anyhow? If you select an element called "Help Icon" and make it into a symbol, but a symbol called "Help Icon" already exists in the Symbols Library, well then name it "Help Icon 1." Whatever. But as of now, if I want to have a legible Layers Panel, I'll need to change the name of every symbol I use to something that makes sense (eg, "Help Icon") every time.
Also, can we please be able to change the name of a symbol from inside the Symbol Library? Simply adding this as an option to the right-click menu will do.
