Repeat Grid: different icons / SVG images in each grid cell
Apparently only JPG/PNG is supported when performing drag & drop of a set of images.
My assets are often SVG so supporting that format there would spare me from having to generate temporary PNGs or place manually.
It seems currently it adds all SVGs on all cells when dropping and creates a mask of all the files combined(??).
+1 in times of responsive/fluid webdesign svg is a standard i think!?
yes, i work with SVG a lot as well.

With modern web design this feature is truly a must. I'm building web apps and SVG is the way to go to create a navigation bar with icons. Please add this feature. Thank you!
Hi, two points :
One : Please indicate somewhere that multiple SVG import is not supported in repeat grids.
I have lost hours just in trying to achieve this, thinking it was a bug.
Two : Please include it in a future release. It's a must indeed !
please please please do this, I thought I was going insane until I realized every tutorial only used jpegs. Please make this work for SVGs.
Really REALLY disappointed that I can't do this. Would save many steps if I want to change appearance and evaluate the changes in context.
It would be nice to be able to import SVG as the image of a repeat grid. As of now I'm only able to import jpg and png but when I want to have a partners grid or something like that I need to take all the svg logos and save them as png to be able to have them in the repeat grid.
I have the same problem. Please add this feature
Still would love to have this feature. 3 years later...
Major drawback not being able to use this

hehehe... just found this limitation. Trying to build a Design System with more than 70 SVG custom icons and badges. Adding them one by one will be a pain.

🙏🏻Please add this! It will improve so much the speed in our work environment.

Until this is addressed it looks like you have to batch convert svg to png or jpg and then drop them into the repeat grid.
