Paste Here (where my mouse pointer is) option
Currently AdobeXD has an useful way to copy paste keeping the pasted object aligned with the original object position or pasting it in the same place relative to the original artboard.
But what is missing is a way to paste an element exactly where the mouse pointer is. Usually if I need an element somewhere in an artboard, the paste option makes it appear somewhere else, usually very far (and sometimes hidden behind other elements).
A "Paste Here" (where my mouse pointer is when I right click) option is necessary to be able to pinpoint the exact location where to paste. Also it should use the z-position of the top graphic element in such very point as a base to drop the new object, positioning it just above the object I right-clicked on (or where the mouse pointer is when I press the "paste-here" key combination).
Without this I waste too much time dragging things pasted in the wrong places.
This additional option should allow the user a choice between paste-aligned or paste-here.
Prototype mode makes it easy to drag an already pasted element.

this would save so much time... <3
The non intuitive concept that helped me in XD is that by not actually clicking on an art board yet hovering roughly where I want the pasted element to be, XD then pastes the item on the clipboard in the middle of the viewport. I'm getting used to it now. It feels like the inverse of Illustrator.

I think 'paste in place' is a great default, *except* when that would mean the pasted element lands outside the viewport, it's easy to lose track of pasted elements that way.
So i wouldn't add any extra menus, but would paste elements in the centre of the viewport whenever the original artboard location is out of view.
I would say this is a good idea. In a lot of cases pasting in exactly the same place is crucial but often it's a bad thing as I often want the pasted item to be where I am on the art board or canvas. Not to then have to go searching for where it is. Although as I write this I've just realised if I click off of an artboard and on to the canvas the item gets pasted in the middle of my viewport, which is good. Mmm...
