Choose which artboards to share (share link to prototype/design spec subset / exclude some artboards when sharing)
Because we are often working with multiple dev teams on a single project it would be great to be able to select a specific path of actions and share them as a link. Example: share just the contact flow or the shopping cart flow.
The benefit of being able to see all screens and link to them is great. Being able to see and share a subset as well would be awesome. We could focus on just sharing that specific interaction and the team it is being sent to wouldn't have to go through everything just to see the UX of a single section.
Hi All,
WIth August release of Adobe XD, we have now added the ability to define ‘Multiple Flows’ on your canvas, switch between them in Share mode, and also choose to publish or share out links from your flows!
You can also choose to share out just a single artboard on your canvas, by setting it as ‘Home’ artboard and not having any connection wires to/from it.
Check out this video and blog post to learn more!

Creating & Sharing Multiple Flows in Adobe XD: https://letsxd.com/guides/creating-sharing-multiple-flows
I highly encourage you to install the latest version of Adobe XD, and give this feature a try!
We would love to hear your feedback and improve upon it.

Does anyone know a way to share links to specific "Components". We create "Modules" in our dev flow and would like to have links to specific Components. We are currently using Zeplin for this purpose, but would switch to XD if that capability exists?

I also agree that this feature should not be marked as complete...I just want to be able to add more screens to a link I already made/shared and update it to then share them. Having to create brand new links each time to add screens is not at all helpful. We pin/share links in other apps and having to update in all those locations just because XD doesn't let you edit the visible screens in a link is a pretty awful user experience :C

Feature is completed but not useful for big prototypes.
For example this feature removes transitions between artboards but not between components and artboards. So if you have big prototype that is made from components and artboards transitions this feature becomes useless. It just set selected arboard as first in flow. We need this feature to remove all transitions from selected artboard and components inside that artboard so we can share just artboards we have selected.
I am just disappointed with XD share capabilities. Its just way to slow for big project that I am thinking about switching to Figma. -

Yes. Select art boards that I want to share.

Agreed with other here, I wouldn't say this is completed, it doesn't even solve the problem in the post. The request is to be able to share specific artboards/flows without having to unlink everything.
Personally the ideal solution would just be to just select the artboards you wish to share.
If I want to show multiple options for a layout I need to show different entire flows. If a page behaves differently depending on user permissions, I need different flows. If I want to show error states, or multiple outcomes, different flows. If I want the client to see certain approved pages, but I want to share a different link with the team for feedback I have to link/unlink a gap for the client before I share the link. This is the problem.

On invision you could create a link for each page with a simple click. I create 4 pages and the share link goes to some inner tab artboard (No way to change this -and/or there is an unintuitive way).
For now this + the bug of 70% width for 1920 desktop share links: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/14156751-view-and-share-design-prototypes-at-actual-size ------ "To much" (No choice to - export - and upload screens to invsion for now and create the prototype thier == "TIDY").

I don't think this feature should be tagged as "completed".
We should have the ability to share single artboards even when those are connected to other components.
When you copy components the link behind those components are copied too, so even tho you can setup multiple flows and share those independently, you are still sharing ALL the assets behind all the connected artboards.
It'll be great to be able to select which artboards you want to share independently of their prototype connections.
The screenshot attached is me trying to share a SINGLE artboard to send an update of a SINGLE component to my dev team 🥴 - the only workaround I found was to ungroup ALL components in the artboard and send them as flat layers which is not how I want to handle my system at all.

I wouldn't consider this feature completed and I would argue there wasn't enough research performed on what multiple end users true needs were to develop something that was more scalable and could achieve more of what end users were truly asking for. I think the Adobe team took the word Flow in the feature request too literally and pigeon holed end users into something they weren't truly asking for plus requiring them to make flows. A ton of my workflows show variations and aren't truly linear as they show errors states, etc. In order to leave out certain wireframes that are a Work in Progress, I would have to go through and link every single page together just to leave a few out. As opposed to being able to just select/deselect wireframes from the Share tab. Recommend to release betas and have more end user testing groups to receive feedback from in earlier stages so that development doesn't release something they're just going to have to revisit because it missed the target.

It seems like you guys totally missed the point of the requested feature. It needs to be simpler than selecting a flow. From the share tab give us the option to select one, or multiple art boards to share, independently of whether they are linked in a flow or not.
As folks have pointed out, during the design process we may be sharing different versions of one page with different artwork or content and we only want to share a subset of the working pages.

It's not even defining multiple flows that we want but just select which artboard we want to share. In the early phase of the design I have multiple artboard without any links/interactions between them (ex. 5 version of one page), but I want to only share some pages even without any link between them.

Yes. Absolutely miss this feature. I simply want to select some of the artboards to share. Not all of the them! Some of the artboards are just on a sketching mode and I don't want them to be linked. Please fix this feature. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

When I go to the "Share" tab in Xd, I can't select artboards I want.
He just select them for me, based on prototypes links but sometimes I don't want this to happen !Thanks in advance

I'm new to XD, but the missing of apparently basic features as exporting a single or multiple artboards (or setting the default stroke to none e.g) are making me doubt if I should continue with this app. When will these bugs (yes, let us call them bugs) be fixed? Please do so!

Still cant select specific artboards to share? come onnn

This was first brought up 4 years ago and is still not a feature? This seems like a no-brainer, especially for artboards used for style guides. Please add!

This needs to be a thing. I keep artboards in my project that are for reference only. Having to version save and then delete them when I need to share is huge pain. This feature seems fairly obvious...

Seems like this feature has been a work-in-progress for a while. Is there any expected delivery date on this? This is very much needed in my designs. I have over 100 artboards to maintain in my current project along with multiple states on a variety of pages. Right now, I must resort to saving out new instances of my document, deleting all unnecessary artboards, and creating new links to share. If there are any changes needed to be made, this process has to be repeated over and over again, becoming very inconvenient not only for me but for the devs and BA's to make sure they have the most up to date link. This feature needs to be added asap.

Yes, Need this feature. One of my case apart from sharing with different teams - i'd also like to archive alternate designs for design team reference but would not want to publish that with dev team.

Yes! I am looking for this feature as well!
