Export whole artboards (or entire project) as HTML
It would be great to Export Prototypes as pure HTML Projects. I am working a lot on Multiscreen apps, where I mostly use Serveal Webcontainers Running on several Screens, to develop those Applications.

This would be a great start. It would be wonderful to integrate some of the coding tools Zeplin offers - especially code snippets for React Native, Swift, etc. Also, the ability to create a style guide in Design Specks would be awesome.

Appending to my comment listing the elements to export (HTML, CSS, images & video files), the JavaScript files related to transitions should also be exported.

Regarding the anonymous post, "just let XD be a design program for professionals":
Other Adobe CC apps are designed for exporting and importing from sibling apps, such as Illustrator to Photoshop, and Photoshop to After Effects and Premiere Pro, etc.
The simplest export would be involving HTML, CSS, and the included images and video files.

Seriously,
Please, DO NOT MAKE THIS...
For once, Adobe, just let XD be a design program for professionals. Don't make it into a bloated app that tries to do everything and ends up doing most of it badly.
Though, I would like most of the features that should come with this, ie:
- More responsive prototypes
- Hover/click/focus effects
- Overflow-handling for smaller elements, like overflow-x on a group
- A more flexible application overallThere are already plenty of apps that's created specifically to create websites without the need for coding. Ie Webflow (great app)
XD's goal should never be to compete with those.

This is obviously needed.
As for "Katie's" comment below, i used Interface Builder back in the early 90's, and it could generate code (Obj. C) from a visual prototype.
Also, if we could capture the resulting HTML/CSS, database hooks could easily be added to it by the use of scripting such as PHP. -

Exporting CSS and HTML is essential to kickstart the development process. It is great to have a tool like XD to design the user experience and prototype. But sooner than later we need to start coding to make the project real! All we need is solid CSS and some HTML5 to get going. The rest we take care of it.

Please insert the Feature. There's no reason to be able to make Designs but not being able to Export them as HTML.

Please implement this feature, Adobe!

As a software engineer and a UX designer, I can assure you that exporting these designs to HTML is a bad idea. Hear me out.
At first, I thought that Muse's ability to do so was amazing! I didn't see a point in having both programs separately, rather it would be best to combine them into one. But as I continued by software engineer studies, it came to make sense. Machines cannot write code in an understandable way for humans. Therefore, it's very difficult to manage in the future when humans get their hands on the code. And overall, writing code to write code is extreeeeeeeemely difficult. You're literally doing code inception. It's a program within a program. Sure, maybe blocks of code would help, but converting the entire project into HTML would just be way too much.
And of course, this code would have no way of implementing database languages such as MySQL, since XD doesn't support databases anyway. Even if they did eventually implement some database support, it would be impossible guess how much space people need for their databases for these prototypes.

Export to HTML and CSS would be amazing. Would make developer handoff so easy! Check out Avocode, they do exactly this for XD in CSS but it’s paid membership, not a free feature.

Check out WebFlow, you can import assets that you create in XD and then webflow gives you code :D

Using the current publish link is convenient but i always run into the troubles of someone from my team cant properly open it, mostly for the management who are not tech savy.
We are even discussing to move to Sketch, which is easier to export to HTML - in general the idea here is making easy for everyone to see the prototype - not just the design but the flow too.
If we cant do this in the near future, im damn sure that we'll move to Sketch. -

Now that my MUSE app wont work or reinstall. I definitely need XD to export HTML!!!!!! Please!!!!

I would use XD if it had export to Html!

Why would I need to share prototypes with the rest of the teams! Screw'em, let's make them come from Finland and US to sit behind my back and watch me moving things around on XD, instead of sending them a HTML prototype they can run on their servers.

This app is for designing, used in the stage before it goes to the development team.
Please don't priorities this feature request at the expense of other basic features that are available in PS & AI.
BTW any non-dev commentators here, this is quite techo request.
We would need responsive placement/locations before this could be considered. -

Definitely need an export to HTML / CSS option. Why bother with proper element organisation and naming conventions if at the end you have to recreate the same thing with code.

This is a very limited useless app. They have killed Muse for no reason and give us this encrypted app depending 100% from adobe severs. Back to Muse.
