Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.)

Since you already started with scrollable area inside artboard, it would be awesome if we could define sticky header. For example, one page website has a lot of content, but I want to create sticky header so when I scroll down, it stays at the top. Maybe you could add the option so we can define the group and assign the sticky header option to it. That way on any artboard we can just assign that option to it and that's it.

Fixed elements are finally here!! We’re incredibly excited to announce that you can select any top-level element in your artboard and click “Fixed Position” to fix your element anywhere in the viewport.

To learn more about this feature, watch the video here: https://youtu.be/3fWBkV5S6U4

We have started the work to allow scrolling of any group leaving other objects on the screen to be fixed.

We are working on a solution to enable any area to be scrollable.

If you also wish you had the option to force your fixed elements to stay in the front (or top of the z-order stack) even as new objects are added to your artboard, vote up this idea.

WOW! Great! I love Adobe XD. You incredibly changed my daily live. That's the feature I missed most from the beginning. Thanks to everyone who worked on that fantastic feature.

I hate to already be asking for more because Fixed Elements are so awesome to have... but it would be nice if the fixed elements would automatically be at the top of the z-order stack (or even better, if it's on top by default, but you can optionally turn that off.) As it is, every single element that you add to the page after adding your fixed element is on top by default. So when you scroll, your new objects cover up your fixed footer. So as it is now, it'll require a lot of busy work and constant testing to make sure that every footer on every artboard is on top of every other element.

Aah... the 3 little dots in the CC app viewer.... then choose "Check for App Updates" and now it gave me the right version. Wish it just worked when you click "Update" but so glad to have this feature now! Thanks Adobe!

Is anyone else having trouble getting the new version to install? It appeared to update, (showed me an Open button in the CC app viewer) but when I excitedly opened to test fixed elements, the feature wasn't there. I fully uninstalled and reinstalled, still not there. I checked my version number, and it's 8.1.22.2. However, the version that came out today is 9.0.12.19. Is there anything I can do to get the latest version installed? Is this release delayed for Enterprise users?

Just to note... I LOVE that you all chose not to implement this feature how Invision did it. To me, Invision's method always felt like a hack. Great job in the execution (from what I can tell in the videos). I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I love that this is here and is easy to use, although I would love for this to function more like Invision. As it is now the only way I can fix my footer is by putting it in the middle of my design. That doesn't work very well when I need to save artboards to send as pdf.
