Vertical Alignment of text in text box
Ability to align text to the top/middle/bottom of the text box. I'm sure you've already got the horizontal alignment options covered in your checklist.

Well as I have to show this to a client I'm not going to waste any more of my time.
I can't say to them that "the text will be centered vertically when I do it properly"
Project aborted.

Sketch supports this functionality, so some Sketch designs are incorrectly aligned when opening them on XD. It seems like a very easy feature to implement which would end a lot of headaches for XD users

For the time being, there is a workaround: choose Area Text for the text, and resize it. It will then be placed vertically in the middle.

It's crazy that this very basic function isn't supported.

Move this to the top of your backlog pleaaaaase. These basic features are all dealbreakers.

Yeah what's up with this! Can't make a table with text using repeat grid if I can't have vertical text alignment. Forced to break apart the repeat grid as a result, which defeats the point of the repeat grid feature.

it's a shame it's not available... all super duper grid feature breaks apart, as soon you have some a bit more text... and buttons?... Vertical alignment is as crucial as horizontal... so please, oh, please! Add it!

Seriously, WTF?! I just googled thinking that this option must be hidden, only to find it doesn't exist. Looks like I'll be sticking with Figma. What a joke.

+1 for this. I'm finding more and more stuff that XD is missing out on, and should easily be implemented.
C'mon Adobe.

What does backlog mean?
This is a very basic very needed functionality!
eg.
In a repeat grid, some text boxes with a title will take two lines. Some only take 1 line. All the ones with one line need to be floating in the middle of the text box, but now they are stuck to the top!!
