Vertical Alignment of text in text box
Ability to align text to the top/middle/bottom of the text box. I'm sure you've already got the horizontal alignment options covered in your checklist.

Adobe team: This feature is massively important for repeat grids where you can't simply resize/reposition the text box, because it will break your grid. See example attached.

HOW IS THIS STILL IN THE BACKLOG! 5 YEARS!!!! Who is managing the backlog...how did voice commands and 3d transform beat basic text controls in importance? Everyday adobe makes me regret not going with Figma. Not sure how much longer i can put off transitioning client work over. Probably before next CC billing cycle I think.

There is no vertical alignment? Why is adobe XD so weak in features? and why is adobe so slow to update? It seems like this app is being developed by a couple of junior programmers and nobody cares about it.

Nigel's comment below exactly -- how can this not be available? Some rows in a repeat grid have two lines and some have one, and to do this I have to break the grid apart? Please allow this feature!

We need this!

Im going to have to switch to Figma, because not having this feature is unbelievable.

Can't believe this still isn't a thing. If I make a repeat grid, and some items have a single line title and others have 2 or more lines, then I want to be able to see how that might look without breaking apart the repeat grid.

I disagree with the need for additional controls for aligning text to the top or bottom of text boxes. XD is a UI design tool and should provide controls and design options that can actually be applied in code. Baselines in CSS are center-aligned. We don't need to over-ride this. We just simply need line-height in XD to be applied in a way that it is alters the height dimension of the text box:

Disappointing. I just started using XD yesterday (coming from sketch). Unfortunatly my how-to-search ended on this page. Apperently this essential feature is requested since 2017!! It's 2021 now. Helllooo... adobe? Anyone there?

Please add this essential feature. Would be great! Thx

Sometimes it looks like they haven't worked enough with their own softwares, because basic tools like this and many others like an integrated input system to simulate the user's interactions, should be integrated from them since the start.

Almost 4 years and still not implemented. This is just silly. Illustrator has this now (it only took 34 years to implement it), as should every other Adobe design application. Please don't make us wait until 2054 to see it.

I am actually shocked this isn't a feature. I was sure it was me, tired and overlooking a standard formatting option. What.

I am giving XD a try after years of sketch, but what is this crazy non-feature. Come on adobe.

Yes, the more components we create for our sites the more obvious the need for this feature becomes!

Dear Adobe, really! The repeat grids are extremely powerful and for the proper text positioning, this feature is critical. Do you mind, please implementing it?
