Lists and Tables
What I am missing while designing for the web with PS or AI is, the possibility to create lists (ordered or unordered) or tables or other stuff, that is possible with html/css.
If repeat grid doesn’t suffice, we’d love to hear about what you’d like to see. Please fee free to file another request or upvote one of our suggestions in the database!

Working with tables is very challenging in XD, needs to introduce this features as early as.

Repeat Grid works, but it is crazy cumbersome and time-consuming. Creating boxes for the table, resizing, then repeat drag to work?
Why can't a table function just exist so I can style it how I want once and be done with it? Too many clicks for a simple feature.

Since often i find myself designing portal UI which needs tables. I would like a table tool that allows me to add and remove columns or rows on the fly from property panel. maybe even option to select type of cell, image/icon or text cell.
currently designing tables is a nightmare in case i need to remove a column or row as I will have to resize many elements and think about spacing a lot if im trying to make it pixel perfect. with responsive resize it has become easier. but not 100% there

Need to have excel style columns & row for lists along with all the style options including adding in box icons from fontawesome. I can't vote either. Please fix this asap.

Id like to be able to populate my grid from a spreadsheet.
Yes, working with tables is very challenging in XD. Like most prototype programs, it is overlooked. I think a better compromise here would be a more advanced version of the repeat grid. Essentially, I need to be able to control column widths and row heights independently. I need to be able to color the background of a row, column or individual cell. I need headers that accept different appearance than the rest of the grid. I need to be able to do all of this without breaking the grid itself as it is very useful.
I think the above additions would make for advanced and complete repeat grid feature that would add much more to the richness of prototyping experience in XD. I think it would be much more useful than simply building tables as people would likely find all kinds of interesting ways of using it. However, I see it as a main element rather than as an element option. It would likely require it's own properties panel.
Another vote on lists and tables!

I work on Enterprise level UIs which are very table heavy, Lists and Tables are a must, Repeat grid is not sufficient. Lists and Tables are very basic web elements that are widely used so it is really sad that not only is Adobe ignoring this request but they even locked down the Voting of this feature request.

Another vote for tables in XD please.
The Repeat Grid feature is cumbersome when all I want to do is cut and paste text and turn it into a list. What Adobe is asking us to do is create 2 boxes, one for the bullet/number and one for the text, and then change each box in the grid. If the text runs on to a second line we then need to create a new grid that accommodates 2 lines of text and intersperse the two different types of grids. All this just to make a list!
I’m sure Adobe thinks, “Just use dummy text and make one type of box in your grid.” Well you wouldn’t reuse the same image over and over again in a product catalog. In fact in all the tutorials Adobe seems to brag about the way you can import multiple images into a grid to avoid that very problem.
Is this ever going to be addressed? The admin response is dated October 2016. Also none of us can vote this post up.
Same. Why is voting locked?
It's not letting me vote on this either. Would also really like to see proper tables in XD.
A simple list

Would love table and list tools - especially useful for complex data sets. Something similar to InDesign's capabilities. Even using Tabs would be nice.

We use a lot of tables and I don't think it is the same as repeat grids (which serves a different purpose IMO). Look at Axure which has tables and works well.
Can't place a vote for this feature. What's up with that? Definitely needed detailed by Lipka.
All features mentioned in Glen Lipka's comment would be ideal
Repeat Grid would be a good work around if one could align text in the middle of a text box (center vertically).
ACTION-REQUIRED has been fulfilled months ago.
Repost of Glen Lipka's comment.
Table requirements that are not easy using repeat grid:
1. Resize columns (and the rest of the table follows suit
2. Reorder columns
3. Individual Cell styling (for a selected row or cell)
4. Cut/Paste from Excel into the cells
5. Quickly make a table of X by Y cells (in under 3 seconds)
6. Update padding, spacing, borders, coloring of the whole table at once, text follows sizing
7. Edit footer and header rows
8. Saved quick styles of a table
9. Fit to group - so if I make the group bigger, the table scales properly
10. Data pulled from external source (JSON or other) - this is bonus
Except for #10, all of this has been a feature of Microsoft PowerPoint for about 20 years. We don't want a weird repeat grid feature. We want a first class table.
