Detach / float properties panel to allow for multiple display use

It would be great to have the ability to 'detach' / 'tear off' the properties panel from Xd to accommodate use on multiple displays. (Like Ps panels)

This would give us more room to work and use all panels etc. on a second screen or even allow for floating panels.

For anyone who wonders - This app was made for those very professional and very creative iPad power users... They don't need our panels! They are better than us office nerds. They have so much time and so much freedom...

We creative professionals on our office machines, we don't have a saying anymore. Our opinion doesn't matter - we buy it anyways. Because for some idiotic reason, all this Adobe trash is still "industry standard".

6 years... I have no idea why this site doesn't get flooded by more angry workers who desperately want their productivity back.

All of Adobe products have detachable panels to allow custom workspaces - why XD is different?!

It's so annoying to switch between layers view to assets view - both should be visible at all time, especially given the fact that widescreens are everywhereץ

Switching between layers and assets is very cumbersome (even with shortcut keys -- ctrl+shift+y is really requires 2 hands) and often, it becomes necessary to see which layer object has focus while either applying colors or adding.

Another need is to be able to see the full pasteboard without the intrusion of the assets/layers panel or the properties. Not all design is for mobile. When designing a screen for a computer interface, it would be greatly helpful to be able to use the entire screen during the creation process.

Many of us use multiple screens so the ability to move these adjustment panels/windows onto a separate viewing surface while working with a full screen to view the active artboard(s) would greatly enhance our workflow.

By making these windows (Layers and Assets) dockable (and, more importantly, undocable) the user can increase visibility on the pasteboard as well as working with both assets and layers simultaneously.

    UPDATE 11/30/2021
For the record, as with nearly every feature I have requested or voted on in this forum, you can already do some of this in Figma. While you can't necessarily detach the properties, you can get rid of them with a hotkey so that the entire artboard is visible.

Most professional designers work in office with (at least) 2 large screens. So, why is it not possible to use XD with 2 screens = Why are all windows fixed? Why can´t I arange the windows like I like them best? Why must I constantly switch between the windows on the left side and on the other hand my second large screens remains unused because XD does not provide floating windows like all other Adobe apps?

I am trying to work on a vertical screen, the working space really suffers. I would love detachable panels. Be it plugins, libraries or layers. Or the contextual panel which I absolutely love.

I need to work in Xd within multiple screens on my computer.
For example I want to be able to have an artboard on a screen, and an other artboard on my second one. Or I could get my Layers panel detachable, as in Illustrator, Photoshop or After Effects...

Thanks Adobe, not only have you not fixed this issue but you've compounded it in the latest update by forcing the Libraries window, which was previously separate, into the main application window. This now forces me to use XD on a single screen with less space than before despite me having 3 screens available.

As the original post says, why can't I have layers, libraries, plugins and in fact all of the tools detachable so they sit on my second screen as I do in all other Adobe apps? 🤬

Most professional designers use 2 Screens for their work. Why is it not possible to use XD on 2 Screens and show all the palettes side by side (fe. elements, assets and plug ins - it´s really annoying that you constanly have to switch between them

I can't believe this still isn't possible. Every other CC app that I use has this functionality which allows me to maximise the size of the artboard I'm working on. Arguably, this is even more vital when your designing for screens to have your designs as close to actual size as possible rather than zoomed out to accommodate panels that could easily be sat on another monitor. I have a 3 monitor setup but most people have at least 2 monitors these days.

Workspaces and floating Panels are a must for productivity. It is super annoying to have to mouse far over on the left to toggle between Plugins, Artboards, Assets, etc...

This seems an obvious one really as all the other CC apps I use utilise Workspaces. Anyone who uses XD or CC for a living will want to arrange panels to suit them and most will have a multiple screen setup so I can't believe this hasn't been included from the start and hasn't got more votes!

The workspace is insanely inconvenient due to not being able to utilize a second full monitor display for the canvas/artboard/space. This is even more so a problem when working on a small display such as a laptop. I should have the ability to move tools and panels to a secondary monitor. It's odd that this breaks from the standard convention of the last few decades, regarding every other adobe application.I'm shocked this hasn't been voted up to the moon.
