Apply a border/stroke to 1 side of a rectangle.
Rectangles: allow 1 or more sides to have a border(stroke), like: border-top

@Jeremy: XD has supported independent corner radius for a very long time. Just click the toggle button next to the corner radius text field.

Erkan Ogumsogutlu oh no! We wouldn't want to mess up the look of the appearance panel by adding useful tools and controls, would we? Seriously, what kind of ridiculous objection is that?
Adobe, this feature is required NOW. Not only do we need explicit controls for each side of a border, being able to set independent border radii is also a mysteriously missing feature. Meanwhile, Fireworks (which you killed off in favor of XD) had independent border & border-radius controls for each side TWO DECADES AGO.

Please consider this feature Adobe! I need this all the time.
A workaround for this is setting a shadow with 1px offset and blur set to a value of 0.
Far from ideal but slightly better than having to insert another line shape for the border.

@Tony - fyi, I don't believe Sketch has this feature either...

I'm being yelled at by my boss to switch to Sketch because Adobe XD is not capable of competing with them. I don't really want to because I have been with Adobe for over 15 years, so I'm hoping they pull through for all of our sake.

There are times this would be needed, such as Repeat Grid for bordered table rows. Instead of having to set it to -1 to avoid double borders, could set the row to only have a bottom or top border.
To select the border sides, you could basically duplicate the look/functionality of the border radius corner selections.

A basic CSS property and available in Axure since forever. Love to see this in XD.

Many different design systems have this little border on the side or on the bottom of their cards and modules. A feature like this would be very appreciated.

This would mess up the appearance panel. You woudn't want this. Think twice.

I have to add a 1px line to each side of my boxes just to emulate simple css border settings. Please get this implemented, it's so oldskool I'm stunned this wan't put in there ages ago.

Developers are screaming because they're building borders where they shouldn't and having to undo them. I'm doing crazy stuff to hide borders that shouldn't exist. Other tools do this basic function. Please support elements with independent border settings.

Instead of using one border for the whole element just provide the way for the user to setup top, left , bottom or right border separately.
