Warn if missing fonts when opening document
When opening a document there needs to be a warning if the fonts used are not currently active.
At this time it involves a lot of guess work to remember which fonts a used in a specific project to have the active before opening the document.
We delivered our first slice of missing fonts in our August release.
So used to having this feature in other Adobe programs that it caught me out.
This is a important issue, as developers have no warning if a font is missing and can lead this alignment issues if the fallback fonts are used.
Tweaked title (was "Font inactive warnings")

I agree - currently if you're missing the font, or the font is inactive, it just defaults everything to Helvetica without warning or notice of the font missing. So passing this off to a developer - they would have no clue that there's a font missing.
