Icons collections
Everyone uses icons. They're everywhere so you spend a lot of time using them during design. Usually you need some external project opened with those icons and copy-paste them etc.
Would be good to have some kind of built-in way to use imported icons (or any asset actually)
As of know you can copy and paste items from Illustrator and from browsers. You can also import SVG from Sketch and from Finder. Could you change the title for this item to Font Icon support? If that is the case. Thanks.

Can it be that there is no HOME icon in the library? Also switching between the library in a different window and copy pasting them is totally outdated... the library should be accessible from the main panel, like they are in all simple logo editors etc.

Demian we want to :
- search icons by name (for example from CC library)
- drag and drop them inside our XD project
Is that unfeasible? Icons are central as UI ressources and we cannot easily do these very basics needs ! And you mark the feature as "completed" are you serious? -

That's lame.

I'd like to add that while you can paste FA characters into XD, any that have hyphens in their name won't work. You get a blank character.

Font Awesome is now being supported, works with Adobe XD.

Well... Font Icon support isn't the case. It was not about beeing able to use icon fonts - it was about creating in-app collections of shapes that is easy to use without switching to different windows.

Support for Font Awesome would also be great (would have been great on typekit). It's a pain to install fonts on every machine. In our office most machines don't allow installation of fonts. Font Awesome is used for loads of project where there is no budget for custom icon design.

One more thing if you could get this to support vector paths and not just fonts that would be more ideal. Optionally if the panel could have a collection selection drop down and a search box that would make it easier (some icon packs are thousands of glyphs, we even store a whole keyword list for each icon due to the quantity).

As the maintainer of MaterialDesignIcons.com I will be looking for this feature (and support it).
We update pretty regularly, so please make it simple to keep users on the latest release.

Next idea:
Glyph panel with icon fonts. Like in Photoshop. -
