Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview
Support to import a video or animated GIFs to simulate animations or even playable video.
Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.
To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.
Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!
XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.
come ooooooooooooooon already guys!
How is this not in there yet?? Please add asap.
Please add this function!!!
Please add this function, this is something that has to be done and I am surprised it still isn't.
Esto sería realmente útil

WHERE ARE THE ANIMATED FEATURES!!!!

HOW is this still not a feature???!!! This says the feature was started nearly 3 years ago!!
True story: This week a billion dollar global company that I work for chose Figma over Adobe XD because this feature still is not supported years later and there is just no excuse for it. ;)
Adobe, this is quite simple: add ANY type of animation import, we don´t mind, but it`s essential that you add something.
Last monthly releases does not reflect user needs!
Please add this feature.

Please provide an update. Thank you.
We are still waiting. Can anybody from Adobe tell us when will be ready? A release date?

Yes ! We need that ! I will switch to Figma if you don't add it ;-)

Most importantly, exporting prototypes as Gif or Video file, with the ability to remove the white background while exporting, that is only what is visible on Artboard shows.
This would come in handy for those of use who utilizes XD for all digital content. XD had improved over the years, but Adding Gif/video support feature (gif or video only plays at prototypes level, so as to not slow performance) would be massive, as I won't have to move to Premiere Pro to remove video background or after effects to do similar things.
Let's get this done. Right?

... totally disappointed! c'mon... just do it already, this is just laughable at this point.
