Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview

Hello everyone! I’m excited to announce that in XD 45 (released today 10/26), you will be able to import MP4 video into your XD designs.
To ensure platform compatibility and performance across desktop, web and mobile preview, your video must be:
MP4
H.264
AAC audio
under 15 MB
4K or under resolution.
Enjoy and we can’t wait to see what you create!
XD does not support Animated GIF, so if you are still looking for that, please start a separate request and vote on it.

Almost March 2021, any word on this much-needed feature? Says it was started 2 years ago. We all pay good money to use Adobe products so the expectation is high. Please give an update as to when this feature will be available. No update looks pretty bad. Thank you.

Please we shouldn't be made to use a glitchy plugin anymore. This feature has been introduced by other applications. But us who are obsessed with XD are struggling

Allow us to upload dynamic (moving) gif images or videos to our designs. I believe this feature should already be added to the application as already many other applications have this feature.
We shouldn't be made to try use a redundant glitchy plugin. This is really ridiculous for us.

I know you guys are working hard on new features for XD, and it's a great program. But please add this feature (Import Videos & Animated GIFs to show in interactive preview). A lot of websites feature videos, or animations on their sites, and it would be helpful to be able view it in a preview. Thank you.

In support community Adobe answered:
We're so sorry for the delay. I am afraid, as of now, we don't have any official word by when this feature will be available. Having said that, let me assure you, I will share your feedback with the Engineering team. Please stay tuned to the UserVoice request for any updates.
