This was highly debated and designers are split on whether they want this or not. We may provide a preference in the future.
Similar to the rest of the creative suite, the ability to click on an object (text or object) and holding down option + moving that object with arrow keys (while also holding down shift) to duplicate the object.
Quickest and most painless path to duplicating objects over click + copy + paste imho.
Integration of XD with AEM will be very convenient to prototype and bring the application to life at the same place.38 votes
We are working with the AEM team to provide integrations in the future.
Currently "Reset to master component" resets all aspects of a component including text overwrites and color overwrites.
I'd like to have the option to keep specific overrides of a component on reset. e.g.:
- Keep text overwrites
- Keep color overwrites
- Keep image overwrite
This would help to keep content and design separated and be very helpful. Especially If local adjustments where made and master was changed afterwards
Currently "Reset to master component" is the same as "Delete component" + "Paste master in original position". As a result I need to re-enter everything again.36 votes
By mistake i choose publish proto and update link - how to cancel it? - i have to close the file to cancel an activity.27 votes
Sorry for the confusion. At the moment, there is no way to cancel a sharing operation once it has started.
You can manage shared prototypes at https://assets.adobe.com/assets/prototypes, and delete anything you may have published by mistake.
We are reviewing the feasibility of adding cancel functionality to our publishing workflows.
Hope to see some basic editing features for mobile app. This could be really helpful for prototyping.27 votes
We’re thinking about exploring authoring in the future.
Especially in a group, lines gives the group additional 0.5px x and y which is so annoying for pixel purfect :D18 votes
Instead of having the option to ungroup components it would be much better to have an option to break components and turn them back to groups with the same name as the component, if I then want to un-group its a simple keystroke to do so. Right now I have to go back in and re-group and re-name every component that was just ungrouped.15 votes
I posted this on the Adobe forums but realized this is the proper place to post.
I would like to see a tool similar to the "Add Anchor Points" tool in Illustrator, but potentially with a few more features.
Along with the normal "Add Anchor Points" feature, It would be really nice to be able to select 2 anchor points, use "Add Anchor Points" and choose how many anchor points to add between the two selected points, equally spaced out. This could also work with selecting more than 2 anchor points, or an entire shape.
When adding a drop shadow to an object it binds to the border.
This means that if an object does not have a border or a fill (in the instance where you would want to create a glass like effect it is not possible)
We have tested and verified that this is counter to how the browsers behave - this is the test example we used:10 votes
I created a link, but when I was presenting, I realized that exported version can't be navigated using keyboard-arrows.9 votes
There was some negative feedback received when we removed the navigation arrows from prototypes, so, this change was reverted and other solutions are being considered.
Hi, is there a way to change "Who has access" mode in Share from "Anyone with the link" to "Only invited people" easily? Right now the only way to do that is by creating a new link instead of simply changing the selection in "Who has access" dropdown and update it.
Will this be a possible update in the future?8 votes
We definitely are looking at enabling exactly what you have described here.
The ability to change access control type on a link from it being public to private without changing URL is in our roadmap for sure.
About selecting objects
On the "Design Spec" screen,
If the number of overlapping objects is large,
It seems that you can not select an object.
(Can not select object with hierarchy below??)
I am in trouble because I can not get an accurate margin between objects.
Consideration of correction, thank you.7 votes
I'd like to see an overview of all the activities and comments on all of the pages within a document that is shared. Otherwise there's quite a good possibility of missing some.
Something like Invision has would be great:
Thank you for your feedback. We are looking into the possibility of something like this. If you’d be willing to chat more about what your needs are around this activity stream, please ping me at firstname.lastname@example.org

It would be great to have a shortcut to jump between text inputs, including within repeat grids.
For example, tab to move to next text box.
Example image shows why this is necessary, I have a lot of similar pages that require typing in a lot of different text boxes.
