2. Bug: Always black color of text designed with Source Code Pro on Big Sur

   Texts designed with Adobe Source Code Pro font look always black in design/proto/share modes. Only underline, if there is, appears in chosen color. On published prototype in the web it is OK. The bag appearing on v 35.0.12.14 of XD and the previous one with macOS Big Sur.

4. Add more control to Design Review share link (Set zoom + Checkbox: Full Screen)

   Add a way to show mockups like invision (Full screen + 100%) - without any extra clicks from the client.

   Today on share the preview is 34% + The comment panel is open.

   The issue: For "invision" preview the client needs to:
   1. Close the comment panel
   2. Set the zoom to 100%
   3. Set the view to Full Screen

   Three clicks (For non-technical clients this is a lot).

5. Bug: Make local does not work when copying to a doc created from an old version

   The reason that I need this is that I had to revert to an older version of a document because a component seemed to become corrupt but I did not notice for several hours, by which time I had created several new components.

   I located an uncorrupted version of the document and saved it to a new document. I then opened the latest corrupt version of the document and copied the components that I wanted into the new document.

   This created them as linked components in the new document.
   I now want them to be local to my new document but when I right-click on the component in the document assets panel "Make local" does not appear as an option.

   I eventually managed to copy the components into my new document by

   a. Creating a completely new blank document
   b. Copying the components that I wanted from my "corrupt" document to that blank document
   c. Making all the components local
   d. Copying those components to my target document (ie the document created from the earlier non corrupt version)
   e. At this point I was able to make the copied components local

6. Enable all Variations of SF Pro font to display on XD for iOS

   I designed a wireframe using variations of SF Pro and SF Pro Text per Apple design recommendations but when I go to test the app using XD for iOS I just get squares with question marks in it. The only way around is to only use SF Pro Regular, which means I lose my different weights. This extends to my use of SF Symbols.

   That being said, we have reproduced the bug internally and will be addressing it in a future release.

7. Behance account and Adobe ID

   I have two different Adobe ID, one from company to access Adobe Suite, and one on Behance. I 've realised that when I login into my Behance account. Adobe will asked me re-loging or automatically log me out from my Adobe suite account. I think you may want to improve this, it is annoying that everytime I access to Behance, i need to careful or I might lost my files. which this is might be one of the reason that my XD artboards lost?

8. XD artboards disappear

   Okay, frustrated. I have completed my xd files and save it on cloud, shared with my teammate. and I have even exported to share on the cloud. So it worked okay. Next morning, I open the XD file and make some changes, then XD stuck so i restart my computer. Then, the artborads I did last night are gone! how can I retrieve them? thanks

10. Asset export turned on by default

    I'm a developer with some limited skills around design.

    The designer used Adobe XD, it's sunday night and the pressure is on. The designer forgot to export some assets and he is not available. He didn't specify export layers because shit happens. So now, I'm ˆ@#$@# stuck! I'm clicking around but I can't export anything. Just see some css info.

    Now, it's monday morning. Guess who will be pushing management to move to Figma? All I can say is, don't lock down st because you assume developers will f* things up. As a developer MOST I care about is being able to export and not depend on anyone to do that. So why is this not possible?

    Please note that your designer can invite you to the document instead of publishing a design spec, which will enable you to select anything and export directly from XD. You should ask your designer to do so if you have the skills to do so. Not every developer likes to be in the design space, which is why we have a separate, curated surface.

12. Improve installation flow and uninstallation

    but hastily and wrongly, closed by Elaine (Adobe) (Product Manager, Adobe) and labeled as non-feature-request.

    While ee agree that it is not a feature strictly linked to Adobe Xd but rather to the installation process which, probably, involves the entire Adobe product package but:

    1. An answer could be: "look, unfortunately it is not a feature strictly related to Adobe Xd so I have to close this thread, but I will report the problem to whoever is responsible for the installation process." at least pretend a bit of customer support.

    Answer instead:

    "You can already set the install location of all of your Creative Cloud apps through the Creative Cloud desktop application. From the CC Desktop App, click on the Gear> Preferences> Creative Cloud and click on the drop-down underneath“ Install Location. ”

    Demonstrates a poor knowledge of the Adobe installation process, and t the fact that from 2017 to 2019 other comments were followed all with the same problem without ever receiving a response, also demonstrates little interest to users.

    It becomes paradoxical that the Sylvain's thread happened in the section of a software created for the user experience, and therefore the latter should be offered at its highest level.

    Let's clarify that still in 2020, during the installation phase of Adobe Xd it is not possible in any way, to choose the installation folder, unless:

    1. One first installs Adobe Creative Clouds
    2. Has read Elaine's comment
    3. It start to tinker in CC before install a product and discover this option on his own.

    It is at least 15 years that all around the world the installation flow offers a user the possibility to choose where to install, there were Adobe Xd doesn't do it, neither in Creative Clouds app, why? is it one of those ideas like:
    "let's make it strange and unpractice, because it will be innovative in this way" X°D

    There's a plethora of people that since years and years, have dedicated hard disks, one for the OS, one for the .exe files, one for the archive and so on and the most pain for them, is dealing with those softwares that install themeselves wherever they want, typically in the OS drive, that then we have to keep clean from them.

    When a user arrives on this page:

    and click the "start for free" button it will download the installer of Adobe Xd, once you click on it, for the sake of good user experience, there's no pop up asking you where you wish to install Adobe Xd.

    In this way the installation of Adobe Xd and Creative Clouds happens in parallel, with Creative Clouds finishing few seconds before Adobe Xd, you can see it by just keeping open your windows control panel, Adobe Xd will complete the installation right after and a push notification from CC will inform you of the installation of Adobe Xd, which will occur in C:

    At this point the user has no other choice that uninstal Adobe Xd (from Creative Clouds because Adobe Xd does not appear in Panel control) and reinstall it from Creative Clouds App.

    Not this great user experience.

    But by installing Adobe Xd from Creative Clouds App, will Creative Clouds inform me where I want to install Adobe Xd or at least alert me that I can change the location? nope.

    Basically in the first way of installing Adobe Xd, there's absolutely no way to choose the installation folder, while in the second way (by installing first Creative Clouds) there could be the possibility, but the user is not informed about it.

    Again, great user experience.

    Finally, the uninstallation process of Adobe Xd, it's just partial.

    Once you have uninstalled it, you will remain with about 20-30 files installed in your dedicated OS hard drive. Why?? mystery ...
    Some of those files, are neither reg files or shortcuts, but useless softwares not required such as a PluginCleanup that I struggle to understand why is not removed.

    On top of this, some of these files have a System ownership, or are sub folders with a System ownership, which means that typically a user can not manually delete them because they are not ownership of the user itself, or because in some case, they require that only the allowed TrustedInstaller could delete them, which is Adobe, which does not remove them during the uninstallation, brilliant, and so what remains to the user is the annoying part of deleting the System ownership the eventual inheritance and assign himself as owner .

    I don't know Elaine, perhaps the original thread deserved to be forwarded to those in charge of this matter and users who replied you back an answer, at least for the sake of ux.

13. I want to turn off the annoying 3d icon that appears on elements and groups.

    A new feature (that might be nice for some) allows 3d rotation of elements and groups. But the icon that appears over the top right in the middle gets in the way and can be accidentally selected. I've now found how to turn it off. Should be off by default!

14. copy and paste to new group without it appearing in old one on other artboard

    When I have a group with stacking applied with some groups inside, and i want to copy the groups inside to another artboard - by default it always copies to the same artboard despte me selecting a different. This artboard could be far from the original. It's incredibly annoying. Can you fix it so that I can copy elements into a new stacked group without having to get them from the old location

15. Error 2163

    Hi,

    I am getting 'Error 2163' while opening a cloud XD document which is shared with another person. And the other person is able to open and edit the file, but I am not able to work on that file, always showing 'disconnected' even when the internet is connected. The screenshot of error message is attached.
    Please have a look into this issue and let me know the solution for this as early as possible

17. Latest update wrecked dragging in prototype mode

    I was working on XD-prototype that had drag triggers While working I noticed there was an update to XD. I updated to version 34.2.12.2 and after update, the drag triggers were broken. Any thoughts?

    All team members working on common cloud files need to be on the same version of XD. Otherwise the file wont open for members on the older version. Most of the time the updates dont even appear at the same time for both Windows and iOS. Each time Creative Cloud app updates automatically, it sets the Auto-Update option to enabled for all apps. Unsuspecting update leads to problems when all team members havent been able to update their respective apps and work gets affected. Please let the Auto-Update setting remain disabled as default and users can choose to update if they need to.

19. [bug] Component instance bounds misaligned

    I've created a master Xd "stylesheet" file, and am loading the library from that stylesheet to use in other Xd files. When dragging the component from the "stylesheet" file into its workspace, it works fine. But I've been running into a bug where dragging out a component onto the workspace in another file will create an instance where the bounds are offset from the actual art.

    I can r-click and the offset component and "fit bounds to content", which fixes the issue. But If I "reset to master state" it becomes offset again.

    It is only happening on certain components.

20. Disconnected - Check your internet connection

    Impossible to install plugins in XD. (PC Windows 10)
    i spent more than 2hours with support, trying to fix that point.
    install, uninstall, re-install XD. clean Adobe applications with the patch. restart my computer. using another networks ... it s always the same issue ... im not connected, so impossible for me to download an install plugins.

    try to create manually the plugins folder ... so, completely desesperate :-(
