Give a specific error when writing to a PDF that is already open
Currently when you export a PDF with the same name as an already opened previous version, it wont say what is wrong. Would be nice if they fix this!

Alert user before deleting component from artboard
Several times, I've accidentally deleted all instances of a symbol. When selecting a symbol from the artboard and deleting, it would be nice if confirmation were required before it deletes all instances of that symbol. If a user really wants to delete all instances, it's easy to do so from the symbols panel (right click --> Delete.) So I don't think this extra alert would be annoying, since the difference between deleting an instance and all instances is so subtle. Option-dragging from a group should not add the item to the existing group
I often will make a box with text in it. I want to be able to opt-drag that text to make a copy in a different box. This works, but the text is part of the box+text group I've made rather than being created outside of the group (as doing a copy/paste command would do).

Too much mouse use
You should consider ways of minimizing the use of the mouse.
I work with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop all day long, I´ve never had problems with either hand or shoulder before starting to use Adobe XD.Manually resizing artboards is a pain. Fit to selection would help.
Zooming is a pain. Smart zoom would help. (Zoom where the mouse pointer is, or where selection is.) I constantly have to reposition.
Finding a page is a pain. Jump to page, search page og something like that would help.

Multi select/deselect shapes by Ctrl+click instead of Shift+click
I know I can draw a box around multiple items ('m using lines) to select them, but I'd like to select them by Ctrl + click as well. I have another shape behind the 2 I'm trying to select, so selecting multiple items by dragging a box selects the item behind it, and I can't deselect it... that's also another suggestion; deselect by Ctrl + click if multiple items are selected

Add a bit of snapping lag when moving objects with a tablet pen
I've been using XD with a wacom tablet (Intuos 5) for several weeks and I have the same problem as with other design software: the pen input is too sensitive to movement!
Often times I click with the pen to select an object and I accidentally move it at the same time (a few pixels) which is really annoying and sometimes I don't even notice it if I've very zoomed out.
In Paint Tool SAI, which ironic is not even a design tool, there's an intentional lag snap when dragging stuff so you don't move things accidentally. Maybe something like…2 votes -
Embed color data in property inspector
Please expand the dat that the property inspector shows to include color codes, transparency percentage and the option to select (maybe even edit) this straight from the inspector screen instead of having to open every individual color box if you're specifying colors for a design.
Kind of goes hand in hand with earlier requested "blue print" modes to make it easier to share designs with developers.

Better export options for graphics with effects
If I, say, create a round icon at 150px without any detail such as a drop shadow or glow, it will happily export at 150px.
However, this size is increased on export with the addition of a drop shadow or glow detail etc. For example, to 168px. (The same principle would effect a shape or text element.) Currently, using the same 150px icon with drop shadow example, the asset size on the artboard does not take this into account, but still shows as overall size as 150px, even though exporting increases this.

Snap to nearest graphically-balanced position on arrow movement
The ability to (key+arrow) move an item directly to a spot that makes sense, according to certain preset values.
Eg. you could move an item always 10px away from another item, or directly center an item between two other elements nearby with just one (key+arrow) combination.

Adobe XD Wireframing tool as InDesign Rectangle Frame Tool
Adobe XD has the rectangle tool, but the rectangle is an element which is a shape itself, destined to be used as a design element.
The feature suggestion is to have a rectangle frame tool, which it's main function is to serve as a wireframing tool, rather tha a design element. The addition is to upgrade the rectangle tool for supporting converting to text.
The wireframing tool should be able to be easily converted to other elements, like a rectangle, image frame or text box:

Draw new object above currently selected object
If I have a layer selected and then create a new Rectangle object, I'd expect that layer to be created directly above the layer I have selected (or even below would make sense) instead its created as the top most layer with in the current group of layers.
This is annoying because often the size of that rectangle depends on other objects in the group and because the layer is above them all you can see them if the new rectangle is going to be bigger them and it covers them up.

Change Artboard title font size with Zoom level
Current (0.6.24.10) version, when user zoom in/out, the Artboard font rendering size does not change. It will look better if the Artboard title can zoom with zoom level accordingly based on 100% zoom level.

Shortcut to cycle through elements of a group
It would be clever to have the ability to cycle between the different elements of a group with a shortcut. Ex: I have 5 elements grouped together, and I need to change the fill/stroke of all of them from white to blue. 2 elements have a fill and 3 of them have strokes, so selecting them all at once isn't possible. If I could direct select one element within a group, and then Tab through the elements to cycle through the elements of the group, it would save alot of time and precise clicking within the group. Copy and Paste Type From Photoshop
The XD team just released awesome improvements to design mode in the March Update with the support for copy and paste from Photoshop and Illustrator.
However, one cannot copy and past type from Photoshop to XD without copying the type as a raster or an SVG.
A similar problem was addressed for Illustrator here:

"Dip to Black" transition
When jumping between user flows (i.e. illustrating what a different user would see), a "dip to black" transition would be very useful. It's a powerful transition used in film editing to indicate a change in context, or time passing.

[Windows] Make mousewheel zoom shortcut Space instead of Ctrl
The reason is that 'Ctrl+Mouse Wheel' for zooming is very uncomfortable due to 'Space+left Mouse press' for moving your mouse pointer. Additionally, touchpads for Windows are not able to move your mouse pointer to left or right.

Add app shortcuts and recent files to Windows jumplist
I would love for XD to support in the next update a jumplist, for us to easily access of recent files, pinned files on the jumplist, UI kits and some few app shortcuts for easy access/launch on them, both if we pin XD to our Windows taskbar, and to it's tile

Add LDPI and TVDPI to asset export tool
Although you cover the most common Android densities, sometimes you need to cover these resolutions for certain devices, for compatibility and testing purposes. It would be great if you would add a 0,75x (LDPI) and 1,33x (TVDPI) to your android asset export options.
Photoshop and Sketch have a similar tool in which it lets you manually set your export sizes.

Export everything that is on a artboard.
Description : I have 2 art boards. both of them are filled with my design . I wish i can Export this 2 in a same image with a new big art board under them.
Value: normal art boards are used for prototyping and the bigger one is for export interaction design documents.

Show distance (Smart Guide measurements) when close to edges of artboard or other object
Say you have a button of some sort and you want it to be in the lower corner of a dialog box. When closing in the size of the dialog box or when positioning the button near a corner or the box, show the measurements to the edges of the box it is near. Attached is an illustration.
(Currently, XD shows distance measurements only when the object you're dragging is snapped to the center or top/bottom/left/right of the other object -- not when it's close to the edge but not snapped).
