  1. Resize multistates components

    when you resize a component with multiples states (for exemple a button with his hover and clicked) it would be great to resize automatically each states in a same time.

  2. "Fix Position When Scrolling" Max Y Position

    When using fixed-position elements, allow a maximum y position so that scrolling beyond that point "unfixes" the element and it behaves normally. Scrolling back above this point "refixes" the element.

    This would be really great for "sticky" headers, page outlines for navigation, etc.

  3. Use "signals" to change states

    Add an interaction destination type called a "signal." Select "New Signal" from the interaction destination dropdown and name your signal something like "Uncheck All." Let's say you set this interaction's trigger to be to "Tap" a button.

    Then, add another interaction on a separate object and you'll find "Uncheck All" as an option in the Trigger dropdown for the new interaction. Let's say you did this for all your checkbox elements (component instances) on the screen and set their destinations to be the "Unchecked" state.

    Now you can have one interaction controlling several elements on the screen!

  4. Run custom code during prototype viewing

    Without fail there is always an interaction or need that isn't in the software. Plugins allow custom code during development. Allow a custom code component to run during the prototype state so I can add features that XD lacks. Like a scrollbar component that scrolls dynamically when users are viewing the published shared content to better simulate a true experience.

  5. Smooth cursor animation in prototype recording

    When recording a prototype interaction, the circle cursor shows off all of the jerky movements of my mouse. An option to automatically smooth my cursor movements would make for a cleaner and higher fidelity animation.

  6. Pin components to each other as they animate

    When a component or an object expands, you may want to push other content with it. This could be solved by pinning individual objects and components to each other.

    The attached screens shows 3 accordions made using XD's new component feature. Once I open Item 2, I'd like item 3 to be pushed down. This is not possible today, instead item 2 overlaps all other contents below it.

  7. Pressed State preset

    It would be great to aslo have a preset "pressed state" wich wil trigger an animation on the same basis as the preset "hover state" but applied to a tap trigger :
    - Hover in = start animation
    - Hover out = reverse animation

    So, for pressed state, it would go as such :

    - Key/Tap press = start animation
    - Key/Tap release = reverse animation

    It would also be great to enable a "Long Press/Tap" trigger by creating a new trigger or adding the possibility to set a tap duration on tap trigger.

  8. Rename "Dissolve" to "Fade"

    Please rename the "Dissolve" transition to "Fade". Dissolve is a terrible blending mode in Photoshop and it took me weeks to realize that "dissolve" really just means "fade" in XD. "Fade" would be far more intuitive for users, more accurately describe what the transition is, and set the right expectation prior to clicking.

  9. Component Master Create a Variation with same structure e.g Active Buttons, Alert Button

    Hi,

    I need to be able to create a variation of a Component Master with same structure hover, on click events e.g Active Buttons, Alert Buttons .

    Make it available so that the Instance of a Master Component can be a new Master Component., without having to recreate the structure on every component variant i need to create.

  10. Fixed elements in scrolling artboards (header, nav bar, etc.) V.2

    I new feature where I can set an element to be fixed to the top of the browser (ex a sticky menu) when I scroll and it hits the top of the browser, not before it hits. And remove the fixed position when I scroll down again.

  11. Prototype: Typing

    Woud be great to see typing function in the prototyping mode. It could be made by combining text boxes and components (By using states). This feature needs some advanced insights to be clearly sorted, but in live, we will use this functionality in our user test.

  12. Drag and drop prototype by position

    So adobe xd can't make a drag and drop prototype like, I want to drag one card to another blank card container and drop it like one position drag and one position drop like drag and drop website builder UI.

  13. Prototype interactions should allow both state transition and artboard transition

    Component states are great but ideally it would be better to allow an interaction to do both a state transition and an artboard transition.
    So an example would be a side nav with each element triggering a transition to a different page/artboard.
    I would like clicking on the link to change the component state (decorate it for example) as well as transitioning to the target artboard

  14. Lock attributes between states

    When using states for controls, there is no logic in making each states a different size or label. It would save a lot of time and mistakes to lock some attributes that will always be identical between states.

  15. Component states to inherit interactions from master default state

    Component states should behave like component copy instances. This includes interactions to be copied to all child states. This is essential, for example, for a menu component in which each state is the active status of each menu item. But when I create new state it loses all interactions. Maintaining 5 states with 5 menu items becomes tedious.

  17. Export Video placed within the Device it was made for

    After I finish recording an interaction, I would like to have an option to export the video with the device around the video kinda like a container.

    I needed to .exe export when I create a project demo on prototyping mode to sending this export to the manager or somebody that he doesn't have XD on his Computer.

  19. Select artboard based on orientation & "screen size"

    So, say I have 2 artboards. 1 for Portrait mode, one for Landscape mode. In preview - presentation, I rotate my device and... drum roll.... cold sweat.

    Technically what I would love is to be able to group artboards under a name and have a field with each artboard where I can put some format or format identifier. Then I want XD in preview to select the best format (or give me a dropdown so I can do that)

    Romantically I'd love to have a storyboard. Each step can have multiple artboards that represent different screen sizes. When I

  20. More default component states (on-click, on-tap, on-mousedown, visited, on-focus)

    FINALLY there's a hover state on components! GREAT!

    However I quickly ran into a limitation. When the user touches a button or clicks it with the mouse/trackpad, the button needs an "on tap" or "on click" state that very briefly changes a button's appearance to give the visual feedback "your click or touch was detected".

    So now that you have HOVER please add ON CLICK/TAP ort whatever you want to cal it.

    Basically the component state changes for a definable amount of time before the destination or next state is triggered.
