1. Export device-specific icons at different resolutions

   Please provide options for exporting app icon and splash automatically, in every size requested by iOS and Android (as actually XD does with general assets), avoiding a Photoshop action.

   App icons need to be exported at different (specific) dimensions than the typical 1x, 2x, and 3x required by in-app assets. This request specifically reflects the needs for application icons.

3. Flag hidden text on Export

   When exporting (to PDF, PNG, anything) scan to see if any text is hidden inside text boxes (of the artboards that are being exported) and warn the user that there is some hidden text. Just of the artboards or assets that are being exported, however. e.g. If I'm exporting pages 1 - 4, don't tell me there's some hidden text on page 5.

   (look at InDesign for example of this functionality).

4. Intersection is misaligned

   When using Intersection in 0.6.20.7 Beta, the resulting object is misaligned from the two shapes position. See GIF below:

   Hi there,

   Thank you for getting in touch. This is currently the expected behavior, though we are hoping to improve it in the future. When you create a boolean group including an image, the image then becomes a fill for the resulting path. The image will be scaled to cover the path, similar to the css background-property value “cover”.

   If you want the image to stay in place, I would suggest using a Mask instead, which will keep the relative size / position of the image intact.

5. Add new Repeat Grid cells to the left or above existing rows / columns

   Hello!

   Presently when I want to add an item to the repeat grid, I can only expand to the right or bottom of the grid to add items.

   However, there are times when I realize I want to add a unique item to the top my pattern.

   (An example: I want to create a mobile nav menu of 7 stacked labels. The client returns and wants to add one to the top. At present, I would need to expand at the bottom, then re-input the labels one by one.)

   It would be super convenient if I could also expand to the top and the left.

6. Show full artboard name on hover

   Currently, to view the full artboard name if it's masked with an ellipsis, double clicking to change the name of the artboard is required to see the name in full.

   Please just let us see the full artboard name if we hover over the unmasked portion of the artboard name

   Artboard naming is critical when building prototypes and assigning interactions. Need to be able to quickly see the unmasked artboard name so we know we're working on the right one.

7. Snap objects to artboard scrolling/viewport fold line

   I would love to have objects snap to the fold line. Currently i'm moving my footer around a lot because we don't have any sticky footers (yet?) and I always need to zoom in to make sure its on the actual fold line.

   Or whenever I resize my canvas back to the actual height of the fold line I need to either enter the height or make sure I drag it to the pixel perfect location.

8. Outline mode to show all objects as strokes

   Would be great if illustrator's outline mode could be used in XD as well.
   cmd+Y would switch the view to outlines.
   Benefits:
   • Easy selection of objects no matter how deeply hidden they are
   • Great overview of the construction of the scene

9. Create hotkeys/shortcuts to jump to specific artboard in Prototype / Preview navigation (custom keyboard interactions)

   When in Prototype Mode, I need a way to quickly move between multiple screens.

   A set of keystrokes that I assigned as short cuts to go to a screen:
   - CTRL + 1 = Home Page
   - CTRL + 2 = Sign Up
   etc

   This same model can then be used to jump between screens in the Preview mode.

12. Pinch gestures to zoom on mobile preview

    Currently when we demo the prototype on a mobile device browser, the ability to "pinch" zoom is disabled.
    Often we need to zoom some details of the UI to be sure they are positioned correctly (for apps), or to simulate the true usage scenario of the web application (many web apps allow pinch zoom because users of a certain age have difficulty reading small characters and want the option to zoom enabled).
    Please allow the "pinch" zoom gesture on the prototype demo as an option when exporting the interactive prototype.

    Would be very handy to adjust letter spacing in pixels. Because in CSS you also do it that way … and rather more .. there is no half pixel …

14. Ability to define wire color

    Being able to select the color for the connectors not only makes it easier for me to understand the interactions better at a glance but when I share the wireframes with developers it gives more clarity to the progression of interactions.

15. Arrange Artboards into a grid (like in Illustrator)

    Sorry if this request is already listed. Could not find it listed amongst the requests.

    I absolutely LOVE how you can rearrange your artboards in Illustrator, and even adjust the layout order, columns or spacing between artboards (See attached screenshot).

    It really neatens up the workspace, and it makes use of the artboard 'alpha number' instead of the artboards name when rearranging (allowing me to name my artboards whatever I like).

    Would love to have a 'sorting' feature like that in Adobe XD please!

16. XD Apple TV / OTT Testing app

    Hi XD team!

    I'm so excited that you are releasing the iOS and Android XD apps for testing on those devices. We have apps on those platforms, but I feel like the real game changer for us would be an OTT testing app such as a native tvML (tvOS) app for Apple TV that we could at least test our Apple TV app on.

    We have our app on nearly every OTT platform you can imagine such as Apple TV Legacy and tvOS, Roku, Android TV, Fire TV, XBox 360 and new ones coming soon. Our stakeholders view our design comps on HDTVs here at our office.

    The TV space is super hot right now and I ask that you explore the market for how much OTT app companies could really use a prototyping and testing solution.

    Seeing our prototypes at full TV screen resolution could really help us make sure colors and fonts and image contrasts are working well.

    Please be the first-to-market in this space! It could be huge for XD. Thanks! :)

17. Artboard "code identifier/label" in addition to title

    When working on a large project, sooner or later, the wireframes will be handed to developers. A clean and transparent stucture is essential. I would suggest that, beside the existing art board title, there would be a art board 'code label'. Example: LOG-020 or MENU-001 etc. In web view, code label and title could be shown together like '[LOG-020] Visitors login screen'.
    The art board list on the left hand side in XD could be sorted on code to get a well organized list.
    An export function to xml could also be handy to get the complete project stucture to OmniOutliner or other outline software...

19. Keyboard shortcut to open color picker popup for Fill/Stroke Colors

    I find myself mousing around quite a bit to change colors. I hate using the trackpad/mouse if at all possible. I'd like to be able to Select Object > {press a key to open Fill/Border color} > Type/Paste Hex Code > Enter.

20. Adobe XD Wireframing tool as InDesign Rectangle Frame Tool

    Adobe XD has the rectangle tool, but the rectangle is an element which is a shape itself, destined to be used as a design element.

    The feature suggestion is to have a rectangle frame tool, which it's main function is to serve as a wireframing tool, rather tha a design element. The addition is to upgrade the rectangle tool for supporting converting to text.

    The wireframing tool should be able to be easily converted to other elements, like a rectangle, image frame or text box:
    a) If you set colors, you convert to a rectangle design element (as it currently works)
    b) If you drag an image it sets the image in there (as it currently works)
    c) If you click with the text tool, it converts to a text box filled with "Lorem ipsum" or place holder text that could be pre-defined by user settings. There could be different settings for text box (title, paragraph, etc.)
