Spell check please! Much needed for someone who sometimes glances over simple spelling errors324 votes
You can now use spell check in the September release of XD! If you can’t see the update, select … from the Creative Cloud desktop application and select “Check for App Updates.” If you have additional suggestions for this feature, please file a separate request!
It would be awesome to have blending modes in the sidebar.1,065 votes
I’m glad to announce that Blend Modes are available with the October release. Check it out and let us know how it works.
You can find more info about the feature in our latest blog post: https://theblog.adobe.com/xd-october-2019-update-blend-modes-shortcuts-more/
Would be nice if objects could be temporarily hidden.
Similar to illustrator.
cmd+3 hides an object
cmd+alt+3 unhides an object.
That would make selecting other surrounding objects an easy task.
It also works nicely if the user wants to focus on a specific area without being distracted by other elements33 votes
We’ve introduced the ability to hide objects with the Layers panel in our November release. However, we understand that some of you want more advanced control for hiding and showing objects. Given that there are a number of different potential directions we could take this, we’d love to hear your thoughts in new ideas in UserVoice. I’m closing this idea as completed for now.
Ability to copy an object's style and paste it to others169 votes
This feature is now available with the Paste Appearance command, which we’re introducing today in our August release! Learn more about it here: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/august-update-of-adobe-xd/
If you don’t see an update, launch the Creative Cloud desktop application, select the gear icon, and click “Check for App Updates.”
To be able to use XD as a useful tool for content architecting/wireframing (before design, before prototype) - a library of generic common web and mobile web elements would be very useful (in an easily accessible panel - NOT by copying and pasting from a template file).
- Image/Logo (resizable) placeholder
- Horizontal and Vertical Nav placeholder
- Icon library (like hamburger, search, map point, etc)
- Text block (resizable) placeholder
- Scrollbar (horizontal, vertical) placeholder
Think Balsamiq, or OmniGraffle wireframe tools for example.281 votes
Thanks for your feedback on this! With the introduction of plugins, we now have a wide variety of plugins that will meet this need. You might want to try out the Quick Mockup plugin, which was just released. Check it out, and feel free to file a new ticket if you’re looking for more!
Similar to Edge Reflow, it would be great to have the ability to prototype responsive design ideas with a fluid, flexible canvas. Web designers need a good tool for this there really isn't anything out there to test out responsive design solutions.2,336 votes
With last week’s update of XD, we introduced Responsive Resize – a way to easily resize your elements as you adapt them to different screen sizes. This should massively speed up your workflow.
Download the latest version of XD to give it a try, and check out a 3 min overview of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKvg8_8jv10&t=2s
Look forward to hearing what you think!
Ability to change the stroke from inside/outside/center284 votes
You can now change the position of the border along the stroke for closed paths in the December release of Adobe XD! Check it out, and let us know what you think. If you’d like to see additional improvements to this feature, please feel free to file it as a separate ticket.
It feels weird not having those shortcuts31 votes
We have just shipped this feature with the July update of Adobe XD

When using the Text Tool, it would be good if the edges of the automatically created text box snapped to the edges of the text. This would ensure distance between elements is calculated from the text itself, rather than the text box it sits within.80 votes
Since March release, double-clicking on the bottom resize handle of an area text will fit its height to match the content inside.
Provide us an upfront tool to add or insert image / images and also option to replace the same.
Its very important to add icons also .2 votes
We’ve confirmed that File > Import is what you guys are looking for.
- Add to library
We currently have following right click features:
Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete | Group, Lock | Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, Send to Back
and we will be bringing more over time with specific features as we implement them.
Tom (Adobe XD)
Option to fill entire imported asset with color on single click selection. Currently double clicking allows parts to be filled, but for a complex icon with multiple parts one has to select and color them individually. See attached example.
Example. When one has imported a series of icons from Illustrator, selecting the the icon should present a color fill option to fill that entire icon with color.32 votes
Show all & zoom to selected object is a pretty powerful way to navigate among your artboards. Also very useful when trying to work on the details of a particular selected object.23 votes
You can now zoom to selected object. Check out the September release of Adobe XD.
Tom (Adobe XD)
Being able to create and share Style Guides to be used within teams. For instance, one member of a team can create a style guide with several object/paragraph/font styles to be shared with team members working on the same project. Within the object style allowing dynamic styles of say, a button, to be shared would be helpful as well.196 votes
We now have linked assets, which should meet this request: https://youtu.be/2BhSwGXvslc Please feel free to file another ticket if you want improvements to this!
No hay ningún tipo de Rejilla.
Sobretodo customizar tipo BootStrap1 vote
Lanzamos rejillas en Preview 2. Se puede usarlo ahora. :)
The ability to constrain the proportions of an element, but change the dimensions, say width, to an exact number value.110 votes
You can constrain proportions for objects directly via a lock icon in the property inspector.
Tom (Adobe XD)
I find the option to position elements relative to artboard is a missing feature.
Not only for center to artboard, but also, let's say I change the width of the artboard, if the element is centered it should keep that way.
If it's aligned to right it should be like glued to the artboard right edge.7 votes
We introduced align-to-artboard in Preview 3. Please do check it out and let us know what you think! Please file pinning to different sides of artboards as a separate suggestion.
Can you add handle points to scale down or up text?2 votes
If you’re using point text, you can drag on the bottom handle to scale your text.
Change text size with cmd+shift+comma and dot for -1/+1 and cmd+shift+alt+comma and dot for -10/+10 font size like other adobe apps44 votes
We forgot to update this! Earlier this year, we implemented this keyboard shortcut, so you can now use Cmd+Shift+, and . to change your font size.
since there is no layers tab, it is crucial to have a feature that allows the user to arrange objects to:
- bring to front
- bring forward
- send backward
- send to back
I'm aware that these are in the menu under Object, but please make them more accessible in the UI, if I have to go into the menu every time to arrange objects it will slow down the user's work flow!19 votes
In our June 2016 release, you will be able to use the context menu (right click) to arrange your item. For now, you can use the menu under Object as mentioned, or shortcuts (CMD + ] to Bring Forward, or CMD + [ to send Backward).
