Choose which specific component to add to CC library
- The ability for a designer to choose which component to add to CC Library.
- This is valuable because when we publish to the CC Library, it publishes ALL the components. It would be nice if we could pick & choose which components to publish as not all components are ready to be published to the CC Library and shared with other designers.

Horizontal stack with fixed width
Being able to fix the width, when stack is active, then on adding / removing items the padding should be distributed evenly between the element.
Will let us recreate the same logic as the "display: flex, justify-content: space-between", useful for app development like navbar that always have the same width.

Drag padding in stack without double click
When you select a repeat grid object, you can see pink highlight if you mover your cursor between grids then you could just drag it to modify the padding.
With Stack, you have to double click to edit padding, which feels unintuitive and inconvenient. 1. You'd easily miss the fact that the particular group is stack enabled so you can drag the padding. 2. When you're working on page layout, you'd be repeatedly double clicking the group especially if you have many objects on the same artboard.

re-set/re-link names of (and inside) components
once the "name" of a layer of an instance or the main-component has been renamed (aka broken) manually, any future re-namings of the main-component or its "broken" layer will not be executed in the instance.
this is understandable.
to reset an ENTIRE element XD has the "reset to main-component" feature - which is great.
MY IDEA:
similar to the feature where you reset line spacing by entering "none", there could be a re-set of the name / re-link to the naming of the main-component by entering a "none" as the layer name.1 vote -

Make Alignment shortcuts accessible with 1 hand (left hand)
It's very hard to leave my mouse every two seconds to make a shortcut for alignments.
Shortcuts created to make life easier and speed the work flow but on this situation, it's not!
Please alignments shortcuts accessible with one hand rather than two hands,
and Use V for vertical and H for Horizontal

Disable animated zoom on windows
Please allow us to disable animated zoom on windows. For adobe XD on mac, there isn't an animated zoom but when using the program on windows it smooths out the steps in between each zoom level. Photoshop allows you to turn off animated zoom as well.

Ability to zoom in on library components in the library panel
When viewing components in the library panel it is really hard sometimes to see the components. Can you implement the ability to zoom in on this panel to see more details of the components that you are looking at.

Move prototyping tool outside of XD
Hello Support Team,
We really don't need the pack of the tool. We only simple and sweet UI Design tool. We never ever use prototyping. Or we use just simple linked prototyping. Nothing more than this.
Please don't make the software heavier. Keep it sweet and simple.

Auto-animate, regardless if the group is within another group on the other artboard.
So many times when I design, I just want to put things in new, overarching groups. Yet, this always breaks the auto-animation of any group within that new group. Very frustrating as it breaks the "feel" of my design constantly.
I really want components to keep their inter-artboard animations, regardless if they reside in new overarching groups. Hope this is possible!

Update a Library with a single click
It would be great if libraries could be updated with a single click rather than the multiple click, pop-up window, sometimes blue bar on the bottom too, senseless process currently in place.
Updating assets in a document using a shared library could also do with "some" thought.

Reuse CC Library published by XD in other CC applications
Somehow the new CC Libraries are not thought through. There are two things which are really a problem in my opinion.
First:
When I publish a library I now have all components, styles and colors from XD in all applications. Which is ok for colors but what should I do with the styles and components in print for example? They are completely useless because I will define other styles and components in InDesign. So now the libraries are getting more and more filled up with elements you don't need.Second:

Match fonts weight with browsers fonts weight
Fonts seem lighter, or too sharp, in XD than in browser reality.

Paragraph text line height should change on text size
Can we apply more than one character style to text in a text box. Many websites are text-heavy – this is a nightmare to update in design phase, when options need to be presented and text updated. "Space after" needs to change depending on text size etc. Am I missing something here?

Variable / no padding on one of the sides
The padding tool is great, but for some cases, it would be great to have a possibility to leave it undefined. Example: I have a component that has a background and a text in it. I want to use it in a way that the background will take all the available space on the right of the text, regardless of the length of the text inside. Now I will not be able to do it otherwise than manually adjust the padding for each instance of this component.

Warn user if component that they are trying to paste is outdated
Currently when working with multiple documents, if you have overwrites on a component. And you modify that component, and then paste the component or artboard into a file that has an outdated version of that component.
It will paste the components but reset the overwrites and set the component back to it's default state. It doesn't inform the user about why it just resetted all their content. Which can be extremely annoying to the user, as this seems very weird. (Which is why there are also several support tickets of people running into this issue).

Adjust position of objects across artboards relative to their current positions
Selection and operations on multiple objects has a considerable improvement potential to better meet the professional needs.
I would love to be able to conveniently select, then change and also add, subtract to etc. to the relative position of multiple selected elements like in Sketch.
Use case: While cooperatively working with a XD file a designer Ted want's to check, if one specific element used all over his huge design went a little bit off of their desired positions., which causes flickering in the prototype. Optimally Ted does the following:

Stop reorder layers in the layers panel automatically
When I click ”Edit Main Component“, the Main Component is automatically pushed on the top position of a group. That kills the design which is based on stacks. Make it stop or at least give the option to turn it off.
