One single interaction can trigger multiple actions to take place.
I found when designing navigation for a single page site, I want the button to change color while on a specific part of the page. It would be nice if one interaction like tap, could trigger multiple interactions to take place.

I would really like to see this feature, for example, to be able to drag/swipe either up or down on the same component and have the different directions yield different results.

I have a component that changes states on Tap, which works great. I want to also have that same Tab event to scroll the page down, but that is not possible. I would have to choose one or the other.
It would be great if more than one action can be triggered with a single click.

Would be great if you could assign multiple interactions to the same gesture. e.g.: I'm creating a button. On Tap, I want to the button to change color THEN immediately go to another art-board.

I have also submitted a request for this feature. I think this is a simple and essential feature that a prototyping app should have but it seems adobe Xd lacks it.
for example I want to have multiple states on the menu buttons to switch by clicking each one and at the same time it takes me the defined portion of the page. Now I can just add a "Scroll to" action to "Tap" trigger but I can't have another "Transition" or "Auto Animate" action to change the state of that button on the same "Tap" trigger.

I wanted my splash screen animation to auto animate into a second screen with a time delay and along with a audio file being played without any tap/drag/any kind of action but simply with a time trigger. I see that I can only either play the audio or the animation with single interaction if I'm using the time trigger. This sounds like something XD should add upon as a feature .

@Elaine, Yes, the example here is problematic in that you'd need to also create a way to order interactions, but it would also be great if you could order the interactions simultaneously. I don't know if that's easier to implement, but I'd like both.

I have multiple artboards that should be called as overlays(O1, 02, 03), I also have a landing (A) that connects to another (B) that includes multiple overlay actions. I want to add a button in artboard A that uses a TAP trigger that has 2 actions, first a transition to artboard B and once is loaded triggers overlay O1.
I also have buttons in another artboard C that does the same but the overlay loaded in artboard B is Overlay O2.
I'm prototyping a complex app that. This solution will save my sanity.

How would one make an onclick button state appear without this? Another ability I am surprised XD doesn't have.

I dont know how this was excluded. We should be able to add a Drag(Left+Right) and scroll (Up+Down) on a single component. Right now, it is impossible to make a carousal in Adobe XD.
Please, please fix this. This would make our lives so much better.

This is a MUST and something I can do EASILY for years with UXPin. I've been using XD and thinking about moving over from UXPin but this is an ENORMOUS oversight IMO.
We must have the ability to have multiple interactions of the SAME TYPE (tap, click) on a single object.
I want to click once and change the state of multiple independent objects on screen that are not part of some larger master component.

I need this too. One-click or tap and I can change the state of multiple objects to something else. I can't even add more than one tap to accomplish this.
Adobe I've been able to do this in UXPin since I started using it back in 2016!
I'm evaluating XD as an alternative to UXPin and for our more complex projects not having the ability to do this is a dead end—showstopper. The ability to change any other components state based on the current state of an object. So if I hover over one object, I can make the state of 3, 5, 15 objects change, and then return to default.
If I click on one object. I can change the state of any number of other objects. Let me know if you have any questions.

I second this request. I want to be able to click a button and have multiple things change on screen. For instance a check box that is used to hide or show another element in the design like you might see in a preferences.

this is a must. i want for example, to be able to give two swipe interactions to an element, so when its the middle element, i can swipe back of forward

Allow more than one of the same type of interaction on a component.
For example two taps. One triggering an overlay menu, and One moving down to anchor link on another part of the page (where the overlay is position to show)

Once I press a button or touch, I want to get an animation to other artboard and a sound at the same time. For now if I do both, adobe xd preffers only one.

I also need this feature. I will give an case szenario for that action.
When you add an trigger to an button, you maybe want to blur the background and do also an slide in for an action bar (only with one click). This will focus user eyes on the main aspect of the design. -

You should be able to create animations that trigger per action. For example let's say I want a button to have a default state and a downstate and revert back to default state when I let go. Not only this but also the button would play an audio file (independent of the animation duration) and show an animation that indicates that the audio is playing non related to the button states.
I tried creating something like this today but it's clumsy and laggy and has 5 artboards. I think this could be achieved with one artboard if you could cycle states with time interaction after the tap.
And I already tried contacting your tech support who were not able to help me with this one so it's currently impossible.
Like I said I did create a really clumsy version with 5 artboards but with the multiple state's this should not be what I need to do. Plus I want more control over the result. Now I have to make the tap trigger the length of the audio and if that tap controls default and down state then the overall result is suboptimal and slow like 0.5 seconds for a button to go down when in reality it should be really snappy.
