Flip vertical/horizontal

I am trying to create icons in XD and want to make sure they are symetrical but there is no flip option in the edit menu.

I tried to use the width, height and coordinates to do this but without guides, or the ability to unlock the ratio this does not work either

    Such a simple and very basic features... Why keep pushing on advanced features like spec sharing, when you even cannot make this simple feature happen? LOL.

    Wow I keep trying to give XD a chance and I keep encountering a lack of the most basic features imaginable. When is this going to be released? Maybe I should just go back to Sketch.

    Yes, Please add a flip. We are not asking for rulers and guides or pulldown menus which all according to some of you Adobe engineers are redundant because this fantastic tool is "predominantly for mobile and not desktop" (excusez moi). But a darn FLIP and you are still working on it? Can't you just borrow it from other departments like InDesign?

    I use a workaround-- Let's say you need to flip something horizontally.
    1. Copy the width of the object.
    2. Flip the object horizontally using transform controls with mouse. Do not worry about proportions just yet.
    3. Paste the width for the object.

    This way you'll have the object exactly flipped. For flipping vertically use height instead of width.
    To Adobe: The above steps can be scripted into one. It can easily be made into a feature.

    I would say this is a MVP phase feature, but for now, I just can't wait to have it as an option and no more workarounds and juggling softwares

    Seriously guys... What are you doing? It's 2018 now, Adobe XD is a PAID product and you have yet to deliver such a laughable "feature". Shame.

    In 2016 they say they'll pick it up soon and it's still not here for something about as basic as it gets....
