Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    Exploring XD To be truly useful, I need to be able to embed video/audio, or be able to link to it from an XD icon

    Many times I have a duplicate menu across many different art boards. When I'm prototyping I have to rewire all the links every time I use it. I've found a small work around for this. I wire everything up and then copy the menu to all the art boards. But what I think Adobe XD really needs are hyperlink components that work just like Hyperlinks in HTML. This way we can change the url path at any time.

    When prototyping, I need to be able to specify external URLs that text would go to. They do not need to actually go to that link in the prototype, just a means of associating on-page text with a link. Also, it would be nice if after this is programmed into XD, it could be visible to the developers in Zeplin so they can copy and paste the URL into the HTML code as the "a href".
