Tap/Hover Effect
Need Little bit tapping/hover effect on list/buttons/links during presentation to client. Its give an actual working product feel and help to make decision.
rollover, mouseover

Seriously Adobe!! I want to echo literally one of a thousand designers that have taken the effort to let you know what the community needs but continues to be ignored. WE NEED HOVER! Why do you think that this has been upvoted to the top? This is ridiculous. You continue to ignore the people that actually use your service. GET HOVER! I'm tired of updates and updates where I continue to be disappointed.

Everything I search for is a feature request.

It's very complicated to migrate to XD, if small requests like this from hover are not met.

Seriously Adobe... You just don't listen or there's something unclear ?
We really need a hover function. It's been requested loooong time ago.I'd like to switch my design team to XD but It's just impossible.
Do you realise that ?

Well, I guess (hope) it is now a marketing decision and per se Adobe is holding back the release of this feature until the Adobe Max of November ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry Adobe, but as a long-time fan and as Head of Design in my company, I just can't afford to continue working with your product. It would just be irresponsible and non-professional to keep insisting on using your product whilst missing key and basic features such as hover states, variables management and animated GIFs support.
Sadly switching to Figma, now that they listened to the community and created the auto-animate feature they were missing.
would be glad to switch back while those features will be available, but might be too late...

Seriously what's going on here? I would love to stay in XD but this is such a basic feature used for all desktop designs!

Surprised it isn't available yet. Voted.

WTF is wrong here? The most requested Feature for over 3 years now and it is still not available?
Over 6 month in development now for this little feature?
For our company this was the deal breaker when thinking about moving over to XD and it still is. Over 8.000 People voting here will probably be hundreds of thousands of users in total. So sad and not understandable Adobe!

PLEASE ADD ROLLOVERS!
Adobe XD has SO many amazing, powerful, features - but this basic, fundamental feature MUST be included in order to take XD seriously. As of right now, I cannot recommend switching from Sketch to XD for my client until these basic missing tools are fixed!
1) Rollovers
2) Variables support
3) Editable forms -

Looked like this feature has started 7 months ago - what is the anticipated release date for this?

We shouldn't have to request a basic feature like this...

I was in charge of investigating possibly migrating our protyping to Adobe XD for our software department. In conclusion, there's no way that I can recommend going backwards and losing basic features that we use regularly to develop software. Missing features like hover functionality, editable form fields, and the absence of variables are a deal-killer.

I just moved out of XD because of this lack of basic feature. I've moved on to Sketch/Invision.
No headaches since.

I'm guessing the lack of enthusiasm for this feature within the Adobe Developers circle stems from the tool's clear targeting of mobile device design; touch screens don't produce hover events, so why would anyone want to code for them?!
I'm not sure which fascinates me more, the fact that this request has been here for over 3.5 years with a brief consideration (feature-under-review then back to feature-in-the-backlog on the same day), or the fact that it appears to have been started over 7 months ago but still hasn't arrived.
From the perspective of a recovering programmer, it's hard to imagine this feature would take more than 30 minutes to code.

It's like making a car but forgetting to include a turn signal.
