Dark Interface (overall UI including side panels) / Dark mode

The option for a darker interface like Photoshop and Illustrator would be great, especially when working at night.

    How can it be in the backlog for 5 years?

    It is being 5 years that XD Designers asking for a better dark UI and for a 4 year this feature in the backlog. Since we all know that Adobe has a software library which all of them are in dark UI but XD only in white. We cannot use this when it is night since designers won't put their pc on night mode. the light reflects very badly on the eyes. So please please please, We love XD and we need a better Dark theme. Please consider our valuable feedback.

    What is it with Adobe that there are different teams with different ideas of the overal brand experience. That is not good for the Adobe brand. Especially when we now it is the people, the customers who will make you brand grow. Don't forget the people (users/customers) are a significant part of the Adobe brand. Embrace it and work together.

    I am amazed that there isn't an option like there is in Photoshop and Illustrator to change the backgrounds. Even more amazed that it has been asked for for almost 5 years and still isn't in.

    It's incredulous... (#ironic)

    You (Adobe) are supposedly creating a piece software for your paying cutomers to design, craft & create better user experiences for their audiences in turn. Yet you ignore one of the most popular requests of all time for a feature update, not to mention a basic physical requirement regarding their working health (ie. eye-strain). We 'the designers' sit in front of monitors for many hours at a time and it is no joke... I am currrently sitting in a room bathed in unecessary light due to your XD interface.

    With an annual revenue estimated to be in excess of $10 Billion (USD), can't you afford to throw another programmer or twelve at the problem?

    Quite frankly, apart from insulting the communities intelligence by leaving it more than five years, it shows that the 'community' label is more of a one-way street / marketing tool! Please spend a little of the money you've been throwing away by advertising how Adobe CC allows you to just to dream and be creative whilst the the software does the rest... every time I see it it makes me sigh!!

    I guess the only choice we are left with as intelligent individuals that value UX and wish to avoid damaging our eye-sight any further.... is to use another piece of software!

    Lack of this feature, especially five years later in 2021, will keep XD an also-ran in the UX design space. Get on this, Adobe, or all your other investment in this app is diminished **significantly.**

    Put it in action now please. This is a top feature request. None of the top ten feature requests should be in the backlog!

    Why is this still in the backlog? It's been requested for 4 years and Adobe XD is consistently losing users to new competitors. It's a feature that should've been shipped out initially. Really? So many people have been asking for it or have explained that it is the literal reason they aren't using the software.

    I would believe about any UX Designer is pushing this forward more and more. If this is still not from the backlog to the release phase. I would push this forward as well. Eye strain is killing me on most OLED screens with their overly bright screens

    If you have to choose only one theme, please make dark the only option. Why would it be light when all your other products default to dark?
